The central hands and small hours dots have all been fitted with a green luminesce, for an enhanced legibility. A splash of color has been added in the form of a red index marker at 12 o’clock and a bright red central seconds hand. While the upper-half of the dial showcases the vintage “MONACO HEUER” logo in black print. Above and aligned with this date is the “SWISS MADE” designation, followed by “AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH” inscription. It also includes a date aperture located at the 6 o’clock position. They are slightly nestled within the dial in a “sandwich” layer style. There are two black sub-dials: a sub-seconds at the 3 o’clock position and a 30-minute counter at the 9 o’clock position. On the flip-side is a mostly solid case back engraved with some technical details. The 39mm square case is made of grade 2 titanium with a sandblasted finish and a fixed-bezel. A color option that almost seamlessly blends with the case to further emphasize its titanium origin. For the first time ever their iconic squarely shaped Monaco has been cased in a robust titanium alloy with a silver dial. Recently IWC premiered their first Pilot's watch made out of this lightweight material and TAG Heuer has also gone this route for its latest debut. A trend seems to be appearing with titanium at its core.
